To convert your speech into text using Dragon dictation capabilities, you need to first record your voice into a voice recorder. But, before you do that, you need to make sure that the voice recorder is working well enough and it can be compatible to the Dragon software.
Once, you have verified the same, turn on its recording button and start speaking in the microphone connected to it. As soon as you’re done with the recording, save it, so you can use it later for the dictation.
